A WOW Week at ESK!

What are WOW Days?

ESK's WOW days occur several times a year and provide an excellent opportunity for students to fully engage with their school subjects. Each themed WOW day integrates various aspects of the curriculum, such as History, Geography, Modern Foreign Languages, The Arts, and Sciences. The day is meticulously organized with a range of interactive activities aimed at enhancing their understanding of the subjects and making their learning experience more vivid.

This week, Primary students took a trip back in time, to learn about History and different cultures.

Exploring the Globe

In Year 2, students embarked on a delightful culinary adventure during their international food day, exploring flavors from France, America, Australia, and China. It was impressive to witness the diverse range of nationalities represented.

To Be Amid the Pyramids

After mastering hieroglyphics and constructing tombs in art class, Year 4 delved into the fascinating world of virtual reality, where they were magically taken back to the Valley of the Kings.

Ni Hao ESK Family!

As part of their topic in History, Year 5 students learned about the Chinese Dynasties and also picked up some fundamental Mandarin language skills along the way.

Flashback to 1912

Year 6 travelled back to 1912 to explore the tragic historical incident when the RMS Titanic sank after hitting an iceberg on its journey from Southampton to New York.

Super Me!

Our Reception class embraced their inner superheroes today, proudly displaying their unique superpowers! This delightful event was a wonderful way to connect with our theme of "People Who Help Us."

What an enjoyable and enlightening week of learning!
